As well as being Professor of Philosophy and Department Chair at Haverford College, Ashok Gangadean is Co-Convenor of the World Commission on Global Consciousness & Spirituality, which brings eminent world leaders together in sustained deep dialogue to cultivate global vision and wisdom for the new millennium. Professor of Philosophy at Haverford College, Founder-Director of the Global Dialogue Institute, host of an Emmy-nominated live call-in television show on global issues, he has published several books on global reason, global philosophy, and dialogue.
He will soon host a television series on Patterns of the Universe: Bridging Science and Spirituality as well as publishing Awakening of the Global Mind and Meditations on Global First Philosophy: the Quest for the Missing Grammar of Logos. He has been a key figure in inter-religious dialogue. Yet his primary concern is to clarify the universal Logos or common ground between diverse cultural, religious and ideological worlds, which will lead to effectively addressing the most, pressing practical problems humanity faces today.
