Jessica Murray trained as a fine artist before graduating in 1973 from Brown University, where she studied traditional psychology and linguistics. After a stint in political theatre, Jessica began a study of metaphysics and has been practicing and teaching astrology in San Francisco for over thirty years.
In addition to her monthly Skywatch page, which documents what is going on each month, Jessica writes commentary for DayKeeperJournal.com, as well as articles for The Mountain Astrologer, Psychic and Spirit Magazine and other publications.
Her new book Soul-Sick Nation: An Astrologer's View of America (Jessica Murray MotherSky Press 2008) is an in-depth study of the global role of the United States, its recent past and near future and it is the basis of this interview. We have already interviewed Jessica in our radio section in Regina's Cantina, so if you haven't already listened to that, it is a great introduction into the content of this interview.
Jessica is an enigmatic and gifted wordsmith so you might need a Thesaurus for some of the words in her book and this interview!
To contact Jessica for birth charts, transits and synastry for people or countries(!) please contact her through her web site at www.MotherSky.com.
