The years of 2002-2005 were highly introspective and transformational for Chris (or "Christo" his greek name that he prefers), the artist and the person. Out of this period have come new writings, including a book of selected poetry, vibrant photographic and digital art pieces, a new compilation and live vocal cd, and the availability of intimate performances and presentations.

The most recent CD release is Essentials. It is a compilation of instrumentals from all my cds, none of which are on Best of 1990-2000. The pieces were selected and sequenced by Singapore executive producer Dave Boo. I liked it so much, i decided to release it in all the other markets.

In 2004, I put together CHRIS SPHEERIS SOLO LIVE, which is a live recording from my recent concerts and only available from my website or off the stage. Most of it is me singing mostly originals with guitar or piano. There is also a piano medley of several of my classic themes and a rather unconventional rendition of the Beatles Norwegian Wood
